I have 3 young kids in orchestra and really needed something very portable (so not an added load to already moving 3 kids 3 instruments and special stools etc) but also sturdy so it doesn’t fall over or dump music on the floor. The wire stands might be rite of passage (lol), but this one does the perfect job! The little ledge across the bottom is also slightly deeper than usual and is perfect for holding an orchestra folder and an exercise book (essential elements) open at the correct page without the page trying to turn back over.
Go for this if you want a perfect portable stand!!
