I wouldn't recommend removing the ball without a string protector on your hill style tuner. Mine immediately snapped. Better than the regular jargar A in regard to tone and response, but not durability, If you play 3 hours a day or more, do not expect
to get more than a month or month and a half before the winding starts to go. Sound noticeably depreciates within a month.
