Wind Wynder
Wind Wynder – Monofilament Sheet Music Holder
REVIEW VIDEOS
Hold that note! Your music stand is now, at last, complete!
Any musician knows that wind (whether outdoor gusts or indoor drafts) can absolutely ruin performances and practice sessions alike. However, regular music clips like clothespins do not allow for fast page turns when timing matters! Musicians also know what it means to wrestle with a new etude book or scale book with stiff binding, wasting valuable practice time trying to get it to stay open to the right page. Two string musicians, RaJean Higginson and Mary Tolokan, decided there had to be a better way and invented this brilliant device!
The Wind Wynder solves all of these issues and with the versatility that makes it useful on any music stand, for every situation. Whether you play outdoor gigs and concerts, practice in front of a fan, or just want to always make sure your sheet music stays open to the page you are playing, you will not find a more effective solution than the Wind Wynder. Two incredibly tough and rugged clips will fit on every metal or plastic stand we sell, including Peak, Manhasset, Hamilton, Nilton, and more. Pulling out of the right clip, a smooth yet strong monofilament cord invisibly holds down your sheet music with just enough tension, still allowing you to quickly turn pages or jump between selections! The clips even attach to binders and heavier orchestra folders if you are using a wire stand or thick wooden stand. Reaching a full 42 inches, the Wind Wynder is even useful for conductor podiums, extra wide music stands, and the Manhasset Stand-Outs. The monofilament winds itself back up when you are done and fits in the included travel pouch, taking up less space in your case than many other types of sheet music holders. Its small size and black finish make it unnoticeable to the audience or in photographs, maintaining your professional appearance! 1.7 ounces. Made in the USA.
“When playing outdoor wedding gigs, quickly changing from the wedding party processional piece to the bridal number is a risky exercise in speed and finesse, especially when you are trying to fight the wind, hold your instrument, and clothespin your sheet music back together. The Wind Wynder has made me realize how truly fast and secure I can be with fast selection changes, even at windy outdoor weddings. I also now use it every time I play out of my scales and etudes books to keep it open to the page I am on. It’s just one of those things you have to try to believe, then you will be recommending it to everyone!"

“It does everything it has been advertised to do. The design could only have been developed by a musician who know what unruly pages can do to a performance. Much thought has gone into the design, manufacturing and sale of this unit. Even the inclusion of a soft, velour, draw string bag to keep the Wind Wynder from damaging your instrument in its case is included. The material, design and workmanship are outstanding. Even after more hard use than it deserved, my Wind Wynder is still working perfectly.”

"A weather-beating answer to a tricky element of playing outside."
