REVIEW VIDEOS

Nine classic recital pieces for intermediate violinists all in first to third position. This is one of the few books in the series that is standard size and engraved rather than hand written. Some useful fingerings are included. All of the pieces highlight important skills and techniques for pre-concerto level players.

Pupil's Concerto No. 2 (mov. 1) by Seitz

Never received

Never received the book I ordered. Paid 9.99 for shipping on a 4.95 book for it to never show up. Suppose to have a replacement coming but have yet to receive a sipping notification.

Great Intermediate Collection

I have been teaching violin for many years and this is a staple in my teaching repertoire. I teach it between Suzuki Book 3 and 4. It is a real gem. Very economical compared to buying the included pieces separately and the piano accompaniment is sold sperately at a very low price also for those who need it.

Great Book!

I use Fun With Solos in conjunction with the Suzuki books - the students love it!

Digital quality is extremely poor. Buy the physical copy.

I bought the digital copy when I lost my physical copy. The digital version is a poorly scanned copy of the physical book. Some of the pages are crooked, it is a little bit wavy toward the middle where the original book is stapled. I could overlook that, but the music itself is unreadable. The scans aren't focused. I’m attaching a screen shot of one page after importing the file to Forscore. This is unacceptable. My trust in Shar’s digital music is nonexistent now.
