Bam Cello Case Flight Cover

My son travelled from New York to Ireland and back for a chamber music course. His cello traveled without any problem in the hold in the plane in this case n We are calling it ‘The Big Boy’, lol. I am just amazed that we didn’t get this sooner, as we have bought extra airplane tickets for his cello, before. Cannot recommend enough.

We love this case! It has saved us thousands in flights so well worth the expense.The cello is always protected and is delivered in great condition thanks to the amazing indestructible padding even when we were worried about the handling! We always add some clothing to the inside of our BAM shamrock cello case itself to prevent any moving of the instrument, and then pack it in the flight case. I ordered from Shar and the shipping was fast and the case was a great price. Highly recommend! Only thing to mention, may not fit in an economy car, although any hatchback will do the trick! Never had any issues with the wheels.

I bought this case hoping it would last many years, but after the first plane trip the inner rubber part of one of the wheels completely came off. The case doesn't show any signs of being mistreated at the airport (no scratches or marks). The weird thing
is that the part of the wheel that broke off is the inside part. The case protects the cello well, but now it's unusable because I can't roll it and it's too heavy to carry. It's very upsetting that after spending hundreds of dollars in this case, I still
have to buy a seat for the cello since I can't use the case.
