The Carlo Lamberti® Sonata Bass is ideal for the serious advancing bass student that is ready to move up from a rental, school, or laminated bass. Made by hand entirely from solid, aged spruce and maple tonewood, enabling a powerful and open tone, ideal for the bassist ready to explore a wider range of expression. Violin-shaped bouts; full-plate machine pegs. Spirit varnish is delicately shaded and rubbed out to a medium gloss, bringing out the beautiful wood grain. Fitted with professional level Thomastik-Infeld Belcanto strings, and adjustable bass bridge with easy-glide wheels, allowing a seamless switch from classical bowing to jazz pizzicato. Carefully set up by Shar's professional technicians and tonally adjusted. 3/4 size only.
