Ellis Cummings, Linda M - Old English Hymns for Solo Violin with Piano Accompaniment - Book/Online Audio - Mel Bay Publication

I know many of these traditional songs and know how they should sound. However; when I played through many of them the notes written on the page are not accurate to how I think the music should go. My fingers land on the written note but the note written is not the tune. I'm going to explore this more as I'm honestly not sure if it's me or the music. I will say that I have other Mel Bay books in which I read the music and the notes do sound correct as to how the song should go.
