Works as expected

This is our second purchase of the same shoulder rest but in a new color. My son is not easy on his possessions, and the first one lasted about 2 years before it broke. No complaints.

Great shoulder rest!

I've used Kun for many years and this past year I switched to the Wolf Secondo. Loved it at first because of its customizations for my long neck, but after a while still get pain from it, no matter how I bend it. Just got this Everest's shoulder rests recently (brown), loving the smooth feeling of the pad, and it's a perfect fit for my huge collar bone. So far so good! Recommended

Great while it lasted...

This Everest shoulder rest (in lime green!) was comfy and easy to use for my son's 1/2 size through 3/4 size years. However...it broke minutes before his orchestra concert! The soft rubber grippers had split all the way through. It looks like Everest's website offers replacement grippers for $9.98 plus shipping.

produces great posture and super secure fit

After Kun changed the type of rubber on the feet, several of my students started having problems with the Kun slipping off and not gripping the violin properly. So, I ordered 3 other shoulder rests, including the everrest to try. The Everest was the clear winner among my students and not once have I seen it slip off. Everyone I have given it to loves it. It produces great posture and a super secure fit. My studio loves it. But for really short necks, try the comford rest.
