Guarneri Violin Chinrest with Old Hill Plate and Hill Clamps - Boxwood

This is very similar to the Alexander Accessory's Guarneri chinrest that they used to produce. I would venture to say its the same template. which costs way more than here, and it;s a shame that AA does not produce this model anymore...as aamzing as they
are (they revived at my request the Zukerman chinrest model, and all others are superb par none), their Guarneri chinrest is not really anything, but uncomfortable. Simply not the right grip at all! i mean the Hills knew their stuff. This product here I only
wish it has less grip on the clamp side, which was what a Hill would be, that's what Stern, Ysaye, Schneider, everybody had. But this is very easy to modify. And in fact this is as it is perfectly comfortable and fine! In fact the only comfortable Guarneri
