From the H.R. Pfretzschner shop of Markneukirchen, this fine German bow is in excellent condition. Providing a moderately stiff stick with good flexibility, this bow provides a superior tone with excellent playability.

Octagonal pernambuco stick. Ebony frog with silver mountings.

Hermann Richard Pfretzschner began his studies with father, Carl Richard before working in the shop of J.B. Vuillaume in 1874. Pfretzschner established his own shop in Markneukirchen in 1880.
