Deborah Baker Monday and Janice L. McAllister have accomplished something that only teachers could accomplish – they have created a series of pieces that young musicians love to play in concerts, festivals and recitals! Includes Christmas and Chanukah holiday music dating back hundreds, if not thousands of years. The First Noel (English), Frayloch (Yiddish), Old Dutch Carol (Dutch), Abranose Los Cielos (Spanish), Twas the Moon of Wintertime (Canadian), Canzone di Zampognari (Sicilian), My Dreidl (Hebrew), Pinata (Mexican), Nesem vam Noviny (Bohemian/Czech), Wsord Nocnej Ciszy (In Nights Deep Silence)(Polish), Fum Fum Fum (Catalan), Themes from Nutcracker and more... the "Holidays" ensemble can be used for a mixed-ability group, as each part comes with an A or B option (A being the more difficult part).
