Nice color, super light.
Extremely small pouch. No place to store a pencil nor music and it scratches easily. No shoulder strap either (to carry on one shoulder only…)
I just received my case in color Love for Three Oranges. It is just like the listing, and would work great...if I could close the lid! The suspension system works by using a foam pad that presses against the tailpiece of the violin. I use a chinrest that overlaps with the tailpiece rather than laying alongside it - a very common chinrest type and not unusual or custom. This is too tall for the foam bumper, and prevents the lid from closing. This limitation isn't indicated in the product listing at all, and the way that the violin fits into that end of the case isn't represented in the photos so there is no way I could have known this was going to be an issue.
I suppose I could cut the foam, but I worry about affecting the integrity of the case. I may choose to return.
Purchased this case because we wanted a lightweight durable case. My daughter found numerous issues with it when she tried using it. There were no instructions on how to change the lock codes, it was difficult to close the case, the latches had issues releasing when trying to open them and the Velcro used to stabilize the neck would grind against the strings when closing the case. After researching we found that carbon fiber cases tend to overheat inside so at that point we decided to return the case. Not worth the cost.
I like my new case - it's light, holds my violin supplies, the straps are comfortable, and the blue color is pretty. The latches don't seem very heavy duty though. It's gotten abrasions, but I discovered that those come off with a Magic Eraser.
