Ming-Jiang Zhu Artist Series Violin - 4/4 Size:
Ming-Jiang Zhu was one of the most frequently awarded violin makers of all time. He received nineteen awards in international competition and was labelled "within the top 5% of violin makers in the world." This violin from his Artist series was made by Senior Luthiers in his workshop, Handcrafted from European tonewoods, it is made in the traditional Italian style, and offers a clear, sonorous tone while still maintaining a level of depth.

Guy Laurent^® Collector's Series Peccatte Bow:
Dominque Peccatte's bows are known for their great strength, tremendous power, warmth of sound and versatility. Peccatte was an innovator; heads designed by Peccatte have a unique hatchet-shaped design and have been copied by generations of bowmakers. American Case^® Continental Dart Oblong Case:
With a laboratory-certified highly arched shell design, the Continental Dart offers the most protection of any compact violin case. Durable black genuine Cordura cover, heavy gauge German-made brass hardware, German latch, and careful craftsmanship assure that each Continental stands the test of time. The Dart boasts unique American Case bow holders that refuse to pinch bow hair, sewn on oblong feet, a large leather carrying handle, and a subway handle with non-skid rubber grip. Interior fabric of 100% cotton velvet is available in your choice of Claret Red, or Midnight Blue, with matching blanket.

For added safety, an accurate digital hygrometer and extra-long vapor bottle is installed in every Continental Dart, as well as genuine silk at all critical points where your violin comes in contact with the case interior.

The Ming-Jiang Zhu Workshop is based in Guangzhou, China under the guidance of the outstanding maker Ming-Jiang Zhu. Zhu was trained under master violin maker and educator Guo-Hui Liang. In 1991, he opened his own workshop. Ming-Jiang Zhu has won 19 awards from international competitions and has been labeled “within the top 5% of violin makers in the world today.”

Many of the luthiers at Ming-Jiang Zhu workshop have been awarded for their workmanship as well. Altogether, the workshop has won 23 awards from top international competitions including the Violin Society of America, including 2 gold and 3 silver medals.
