Trial Period: The Trial Period is 10 days from receipt.

Place of Trial: The ship-to address on the customer trial order.

Return of Property: Customer and Shar Music agree that Shar Music will loan the Products above to Customer for possible purchase by the Customer during the Trial Period. After the Trial Period, Customer can either purchase the Products or Return the Products in the same condition the Products were received. The Customer acknowledges that the Products remain the sole property of Shar Music until they are paid for in full by the Customer. All returns must be made within ten days of the end of the Trial Period. For any late returns, Customer will be charged a late fee per day unless Shar Music approves an extension of the Trial Period.

Deposit: The Customer must pay a deposit fee if noted next to the Product. This deposit is a security deposit and it will be refunded to Customer when the Products are returned without damage. 
Repairs: All repairs and/or adjustments must be done only by Shar Music unless the Customer purchases the Products or after receiving approval from Shar Music while on trial. Customer will have sole responsibility to pay for the cost of repair if there is damage resulting from Customer’s negligence or Customer’s failure to properly care for the Products.

Risk of Loss: The Customer will be responsible for the Products from the date of receipt until it is returned to Shar Music. The Customer will bear the risk of loss and damage to the products while in possession during the Trial Period. On return, if the Products are damaged, Shar Music will charge Customer for such damage and issue a damage invoice to Customer. If the Products are not returned, Customer will be responsible for the retail value of the Products.

Credit Card Authorization: By entering into this agreement, Customer herby authorizes Shar Music to charge any active credit card on file for any past due payments. Credit card chargeback fee is $40.00. Customer authorizes Shar Music to add on a credit card processing fee at our option. It is Customer's responsibility to notify Shar of any credit card or billing information change to avoid the chargeback fee. 

Email Opt-In: By supplying us with Customer’s email address, Customer has agreed to receive promotional messages via email. Shar Music does not sell or share this information. 

Governing Law: This At-Home Trial Agreement will be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute regarding terms or enforcement must be brought in Washtenaw County, Michigan.

Remedies: If Customer is in default of this agreement, the cost of the Products will immediately become due. If Shar Music institutes any legal proceeding against Customer to recover any of the Property, Shar Music shall have a right to recover from Customer actual attorney fees, collection fees, and court costs incurred by Shar Music in connection with the proceeding.

Handcrafted with fine European tonewood, the Artist is crafted by the top makers of the Ming-Jiang Zhu workshop. A gold-medal winning maker, the late Ming-Jiang Zhu was one of the top master makers in China, if not the world. Offering a clear, sonorous tone while still maintaining a level of depth, this violin offers an advancing musician the chance to have an instrument that meets their needs.

The Ming-Jiang Zhu Workshop is based in Guangzhou, China under the guidance of the outstanding maker Ming-Jiang Zhu. Zhu was trained under master violin maker and educator Guo-Hui Liang. In 1991, he opened his own workshop. Ming-Jiang Zhu has won 19 awards from international competitions and has been labeled “within the top 5% of violin makers in the world today.”

Many of the luthiers at Ming-Jiang Zhu workshop have been awarded for their workmanship as well. Altogether, the workshop has won 23 awards from top international competitions including the Violin Society of America, including 2 gold and 3 silver medals. The instruments of the workshop are crafted following Italian traditions and standards of craftsmanship. Ming-Jiang Zhu Workshop constantly produces exceptional and exquisite instruments that are powerful in tone.

Beautiful violin

The finish and wood are absolutely beautiful the tone is very clear and projects well. This violin punches above its weight class for sure it competes with violins twice its value

Beautiful resonance and projection

I recently upgraded to this as an advanced amateur violinist. This violin has an even tone that projects well, and the resonance makes it very easy to play in tune. It sounds beautiful with both solo and orchestral parts. This was recommended to me because I wanted a brighter violin, and they delivered!

Awesome violin!

I have played violin for over 30 years. I teach violin and conduct a youth string orchestra. I have played old violins and new ones. My previous violin, which I loved dearly, was a Sofia Master Art. When I decided to upgrade my violin, Shar sent me a few old and a few new violins to try. I immediately fell in love with the Ming-Jiang Zhu Artist violin. None of of the other violins compared to it as far as overall playability and even tone throughout all the strings. It has a gorgeous, deep, even tone that projects beautifully. I absolutely love this violin. Great violin, great buy!

We've purchased this violin a year ago and this is really good. Worth to spend some money.. :)

Wonderful tone

I've only been playing for a few months and I'm coming to this from a student-level instrument. Take that into account when considering my review. However, I play other instruments and I understand tone. Tone matters and this instrument delivers. It's
hard to put into words: rich, full, complex, balanced. It projects so much better than my other instrument. It's a wonderful instrument. My other instrument now sounds flat and muted. I've owned this for a few weeks, now. I play most days. I think I play more
often and for longer because of how this thing sings. I love it. No regrets.
