The Workshop of Ming-Jiang Zhu was founded in 1986 by Master Zhu who went on to win 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and numerous awards for tone and craftsmanship from the Violin Society of America. Following his death in 2014, the workshop has been overseen by Ming-Jiang Zhu's brother-in-law, Wei Xian Zhu, himself award-winning maker.
