Shar purchased a collection of these chinrests at auction, and is now offering them for the first time. These Kaufmann Violin chinrests are a traditional shape, with a side mount and medium-low plate that is ideal for people with shorter necks or whose jaw tends to rest to the left of the tailpiece. These rests include the "Gotz" signature stamp and the original stickers, Made in Germany stamps on the cork, and feature rich amber boxwood and a standard clamp.
