REVIEW VIDEOS

English maker, Thomas Kennedy, was a prolific maker and well known for his cellos. Kennedy opened his own shop in 1813 after apprenticing with John Kennedy, Thomas Powell, and the renowned William Forster III. Kennedy employed some of the most famous English makers of his time including James Brown as well as bowmakers such as Thomas Tubbs and James & Edward Dodd.

This example recently underwent a complete restoration including a top soundpost patch. The varnish is not believed to be original.
