Composed in 1887 for the cellist Anatolii Brandukov, Pezzo Capriccioso is a dense and challenging performance piece. Originally composed with a somewhat abrupt ending, this edition offers two alternative endings, both by Maurice Gendron, that offer more traditional, longer closings.
