I have been playing a Carlo Lamberti Sonata with Vision strings for several years now. I have only replaced the E string once, when it broke. Lately I have been less than happy with the sound and response, so started watching videos that demonstrate the
sound quality/difference of different strings. One video mentioned that Vision strings usually die after about 6 months of steady play, and then need replaced. So...I replaced my strings yesterday and WOW what difference! Clear, responsive, full tone (just
like I remember when I started.) Note to new players: CHANGE YOUR STRINGS! I give them 4 stars because of the cost compared to the relative life span. They do sound great though, and deserve a good rating. I will probably play these for a year or two before
changing this time (instead of 4 or 5 years!)
