Vivaldi, Antonio - Concerto In a minor Op 3 No 6 RV 356 For Violin and Piano Published by Carl Fischer
REVIEW VIDEOS
Vivaldi often composed his works in multiples, grouping them together according to style or instrumentation. L'estro Armonico, Op. 3 (roughly translated as "Harmonic Inspiration") is one of Vivaldi's most famous collections. It contains 12 concerti grossi for different configurations of stringed instruments. Among these concerti are works for two, three, and four violins and orchestra, but there are also several solo violin concerti. This one, the Concerto in a minor, RV 356, is number six in the set, and possibly the best-known of all of them. Students of the Suzuki violin school will recognize it, with its memorable melody, as the first "real" concerto studied in the method, appearing in Book 4. This edition for violin with piano reduction is edited by George Perlman. Published by Carl Fischer. Difficulty: ASTA grade 3
