Wendling Plastic Violin Chinrest

It's so hard to find a chin rest with a good downward slope from the ridge - too many are flat, or sloped weirdly to the left.
At least for me, the hump tucks in nicely inside my jaw bone and keeps the instrument close to me and supported with minimal clamping.
I left off a star just because I wish the same shape could be available in some nice wood.

I have a set of ten varied chinrests that I try on most students to find the perfect fit. On a scale of 1 (uncomfortable) -10 (perfect), most chinrests consistently averaged 5-7. In contrast, this lovely, curvy chinrest, received an average score of 1.5. So many students' faces broke into expressions of disbelief (followed by quickly handing me their violin back to me) that after a dozen such experiences I finally gave up and literally threw this away. In hindsight I should have saved the metal fittings.
