The Melody-Harmony tradeoff Christmas book is for two intermediate-advanced players to rock out three verses of FUN! In this Advanced Volume, all the notes are the same as in my easier “Duets to the 3rd Power” Volume (031). However, in this version, the melodies and harmonies trade off. In particular, both players need to be strong readers with advanced shifting and string crossing skills in order to make smooth transitions between the melody and harmony, when playing these Christmas Carols.

The tradeoff spots don’t happen that often within a verse in order to maintain a natural musical flow. This Volume is great for two “hot-shot” players, whether they are gigging or just plain having fun together!
